Myx Drinks, a Palm Ventures company, is seeking an experienced CEO to join their team. This full-time position is flexible, with an opportunity to work from various locations.



Myx Drinks:

Myx Drinks, backed by their family office, Palm Ventures, has developed new technology for a beverage vending machine/kiosk which they believe represents the next generation of vending. Within an operational setting of the vending marketplace, this kiosk allows a customer to mix a refreshing drink and customize it to their taste. These can be customized with natural fruit and tea flavors, natural sweetener options and nutritional shots, as well as carbonation. All ingredients are natural, no artificial anything, and help the consumer make healthy choices for their daily refreshment choices. The vending machines represent the next generation of internet-connected devices building a base of repeat consumers in workplace and educational locations. These machines are being tested now and will be rolled out over the next year with the leadership of the new CEO.

The CEO will help drive the launch of the Myx machine from a proven concept to a commercial success. Palm Ventures is seeking a high energy entrepreneur who is excited to take ownership of a high potential launch. They should be skilled at finding opportunities, honing strategies to leverage them, developing plans, and selecting partners to help deliver results. This entrepreneur/leader will be involved in virtually every aspect of rolling out the business and will lead the project and team forward.

The CEO is critical to the vision of the company’s core value proposition to clients. This executive will oversee all aspects of business and product development, sales, marketing, and communications in order to launch and scale the Myx machine and deliver on strategic initiatives. As the CEO, this person will be responsible for building an executive team to drive growth.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for the vast daily activities, which include:

  • Lead the day-to-day creation of sales strategies, developing head count, scaling of the operation and accountable to the Myx board.  

  • Possess a strong institutional knowledge of global buy-side research while also driving the strategic direction of the company. 

  • Achieve key financial objectives in 12-18 months through driving the expert network platform into the buy-side and related businesses.

  • Work with the Palm Investment team to define KPI’s over the next 1-3 years.

  • Leverage existing relationships while establishing new partnerships and distribution channels to execute the overall business strategy.

  • Communicate Myx’s value proposition and product effectively and clearly to potential and existing clients.

  • Demonstrate excellent understanding of the evolving beverage machine platforms. Be at the forefront of competitive threats in the market. 

  • Drive and scale company headcount with a designed organization chart based on revenue and forecasted revenue.  


Qualifications and Experience:

Being an expert in the development of disruptive products and/or related technology products/services, driving world class revenue growth, and being a partner to the founding team to ensure the overall success of the company.

  • Experience: Food & Beverage or CPG experience strongly preferred.

  • Analytical:  Will need to analyze options and present recommendations to a board.

  • Technical:  Work background or training in a tech area is a plus.

  • Team: Ability to cultivate relationships with customers and the team members.

  • Communicator: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 

  • Self-starter: Ability to lead and work autonomously with limited direction. 

  • Nimble: Ability to be resourceful, creative and maintain flexibility.

  • Preference given to candidates with leadership, business development/sales or marketing experience.

The compensation for this role is $200k-$300k plus equity.
