Seersite, a Palm Ventures company, is seeking an experienced CEO to join their team. This full-time position is flexible, with an opportunity to work from various locations.




Seersite is a digital expert network which provides institutional clients with access to diverse communities of subject matter experts and industry thought leaders, in a compliant marketplace environment. Their platform streamlines the primary research process, so that both clients and experts can focus on what matters most. 


Experts define their areas of expertise, build profiles, and offer their perspectives, insights, and research. They specify their own rate, receive a larger percentage of the revenue, and have access to a full suite of support tools.  Experts also have the ability to promote themselves on the site in order to develop more client engagements.  


Clients define their area of investment focus, pose their questions, and specify the types of experts they wish to engage. There are no upfront commitments, so it is easy to start using the platform. Seersite then sources and matches clients with the most relevant domain experts. Engagements are handled digitally and efficiently through the platform.  Clients will also be able to see a “feed” of expert posts to gain insights into trends they may not be focused on.  


Seersite’s clients include investment managers, hedge funds, family offices and management consulting firms. 


Their experts and researcher providers are thought leaders in areas such as Fintech, Energy & Renewables, Blockchain/Crypto, Cybersecurity, Cannabis, Consumer, Pharma and many more.


Seersite is launching its beta site this fall.

By utilizing new and disruptive business models, they challenge the status quo and bring about change that is good for business and good for society.  On occasion they bring in other family offices with specific expertise to invest in portfolio companies with them.



The CEO is critical to the vision of the company’s core value proposition to clients. This executive will oversee all aspects of business & product development, sales, marketing, and communications in order to scale Seersite’s platform and deliver on strategic initiatives.  As the CEO, this person will be responsible for building an executive team to drive an evolved product to the buyside and the constituents that have relationships to the buyside.

The ideal candidate will have a background in driving a research product into the buyside. Additionally, this person needs to understand how to deliver a subscription-based technology platform. The candidate will have had operating experience and demonstrated the aptitude to work in an entrepreneurial culture.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for the vast daily activities, which include:

  • Lead the day-to-day creation of sales strategies, developing head count, scaling of the operation and accountable to the leadership team at Palm Ventures.  

  • Possess a strong institutional knowledge of global buyside research while also driving the strategic direction of the company. 

  • Achieve key financial objectives in 12-18 months through driving the expert network platform into the buyside and related businesses.

  • Oversee the curation of content through their content curator alliance.

  • Work with the Palm Investment team to define KPI’s over the next 1-3 years.

  • Leverage existing buyside relationships while establishing new partnerships and distribution channels - including soft dollars - to execute the overall business strategy.

  • Communicate Seersites’s value proposition and product suite effectively and clearly to potential and existing clients.

  • Demonstrate excellent understanding of the evolving expert network platforms. Be at the forefront of competitive threats in the market. 

  • Drive and scale company headcount with a designed organization chart based on revenue and forecasted revenue.  


Qualifications and Experience:

Being an expert in the development of disruptive research/content products and/or related technology products/services, driving world class revenue growth, and being a partner to the founding team to ensure the overall success of the company.

The compensation for this role is $200k-$300k plus equity.
