VERO is seeking an experienced Product Manager - Consumer Profile to join their team. This full-time position is 100% remote, with the ideal candidate being located in the Central or Eastern time zones in the US or Canada.

Responsible for developing, owning, and continuously refining the strategic roadmap for the Consumer Profile vertical. This includes using data, customer feedback, and industry trends to identify opportunities, and making data-backed recommendations for the roadmap. You will be expected to deliver the proposed roadmap for each quarter to the CEO, CTO, and VP of Product for review, discussion, and approval. You will also be responsible for driving the execution of the roadmap, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of roadmap initiatives. You should be prepared to act as a leader and decision-maker for your vertical, under the guidance of the executive team.
Be data-driven, utilizing data-analytics skill set to make informed decisions and optimize product performance.
Develop a strategic vision for the Consumer Profile vertical, identifying growth opportunities and setting long-term objectives.
Act as a self-reliant leader, taking full ownership of the Consumer Profile product and its success.
Implement critical thought to make decisions using data, develop new metrics, and drive product innovation.
Collaborate with consumer profile-related platforms to enhance their product offerings.
Advocate for your engineering pod, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to execute on product goals.
Innovate on new risk factors, staying ahead of industry trends and customer needs.
Be a strong stakeholder, capable of leading cross-functional teams and driving collaboration.
Conduct customer interviews, gather feedback, and synthesize insights to inform product development.
Synthesize feedback from customers and internal teams, using insights to inform product improvements and enhancements.
Simplify complexity, translating data and insights into easy-to-understand visualizations.
Qualifications and Experience:
5+ years of experience in Product, preferably with a background in fintech, insurtech, mortgage, or lending industries.
Start up experience.
Strong sense of craftsmanship and a healthy academic curiosity.
Experience working with consumer profile-related platforms.
Strong understanding of consumer credit and risk assessment.
Data-driven mindset, with a strong data-analytics skill set.
Proven ability to think creatively and drive product innovation.
Self-reliant and able to take ownership of product success.
Demonstrated ability to be scrappy and dive into new challenges, embracing a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

The compensation for this role is $112k-$135k USD for Canadian residents and up to $145k USD in for United States residents.
