Inkwell is seeking a Talent Community Intern to join our growing team. This position is part-time and remote but the ideal candidate will be local to the NYC area and available for occasional in-person meetings.


ROLE


As the Talent Community Intern at Inkwell you’ll support the end-to-end recruiting experience for each of the Inkwell stakeholders -- candidates, clients and our growing community of referrers, The Well. You’ll follow processes that increase the efficiency of our internal recruiting operations, improve the quality and diversity of our referral network, and ultimately drive successful and lasting placements for our clients.  


Supporting the Head of Talent Community and Client Delivery,  you’ll serve as key recruiting support on each search – sourcing, evaluating, and  vetting candidates for each client. You will support “The Well” community - Inkwell’s network of 10,000+ high-powered women who move in circles among other amazing women - with a focus on promoting and celebrating diversity across cultures, nationalities and industries. You will be a contact point for existing Members, ensuring they have a fulfilling, rewarding and engaging experience with Inkwell. Inkwell will provide training and ongoing support and development for all aspects of this role. 


Your Responsibilities:


Recruiting

  • Support search needs, including scoping roles, drafting job descriptions, promoting searches, sourcing, and screening candidates

  • Source candidates through the Inkwell database, referral network, traditional and non traditional sourcing channels

  • Support the Head of Talent Community and Client Delivery, Chief of Staff, and Founder in business functions as needed


Community

  • Support Inkwell’s strategy to grow The Well focused on increasing and celebrating diversity while also ensuring the makeup of The Well community matches the needs of our clients (the companies using Inkwell as a recruiting tool)

  • Serve as a point of contact for members of The Well

  • Support occasional events, both in-person and digital, that foster relationships and increase engagement amongst Members

  • Identify opportunities to curate meaningful content and programs that add value to the community

Operations

  • Support the review, update and organization of all current and historical recruiting documentation

Your experience:

  • Proactive self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Community management, marketing or customer service experience

  • Exceptional people and communication skills

  • Experience developing social media and marketing content is a plus 

  • Experience at a high growth company or start-up experience is a plus


The compensation for this role is $15/hour.
