ROLE
Summit Group Endeavors is seeking a Chief Financial Officer for the Summit Ecosystem
including oversight of Summit Series, flagship events business and Summit Junto, forum
membership network.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the CEO and Senior Leadership team to assess organizational performance
against both the quarterly and annual budget and company’s long-term strategy
Responsible for accounting, bookkeeping and all financial needs of the company
Lead preparation of P&L statements, cash flow, balance sheets and other relevant
financial statements
Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to
the CEO and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations
Engage the board and all finance, audit, and investment goals around issues, trends, and
changes in the operating model(s) and operational delivery
Oversee day to day, quarter by quarter and long-term budgetary planning and costs
management to ensure alignment with the company’s vision and plan
Participate in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, the operating model and
operational execution
Prepare and maintain regular financial planning reports; monthly profit and loss forecast
by division (vs. budget); Weekly cash flow forecast
Develop and execute analysis of various business initiatives
Assist in development of financial planning and analysis exercises/reports
Oversee financing strategies and activities, as well as banking, debt, financing
relationships, government grant programs and more
Engage the CEO and the board of directors to develop short and long-term financial
plans and projections
Represent the company to financial partners, including financial institutions, investors,
auditors, etc.
CANDIDATE
Relevant Experience:
A minimum of a BS; a CPA and/or MBA would be a plus
At least 5+ years’ experience as a VP Finance or CFO and controller for a conference,
event, entertainment / media company
Experience working in the entertainment, event, conference, media, community industry
Experience using Salesforce CRM system

The compensation for this role is $200k-$250k depending on experience.
