ROLE


Summit Group Endeavors is seeking a Chief Financial Officer for the Summit Ecosystem

including oversight of Summit Series, flagship events business and Summit Junto, forum

membership network.


Responsibilities:  

  • Partner with the CEO and Senior Leadership team to assess organizational performance

against both the quarterly and annual budget and company’s long-term strategy

  • Responsible for accounting, bookkeeping and all financial needs of the company

  • Lead preparation of P&L statements, cash flow, balance sheets and other relevant

financial statements

  • Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to

the CEO and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations

  • Engage the board and all finance, audit, and investment goals around issues, trends, and

changes in the operating model(s) and operational delivery

  • Oversee day to day, quarter by quarter and long-term budgetary planning and costs

management to ensure alignment with the company’s vision and plan

  • Participate in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, the operating model and

operational execution

  • Prepare and maintain regular financial planning reports; monthly profit and loss forecast

by division (vs. budget); Weekly cash flow forecast

  • Develop and execute analysis of various business initiatives

  • Assist in development of financial planning and analysis exercises/reports

  • Oversee financing strategies and activities, as well as banking, debt, financing

relationships, government grant programs and more

  • Engage the CEO and the board of directors to develop short and long-term financial

plans and projections

  • Represent the company to financial partners, including financial institutions, investors,

auditors, etc.


CANDIDATE


Relevant Experience:

  • A minimum of a BS; a CPA and/or MBA would be a plus

  • At least 5+ years’ experience as a VP Finance or CFO and controller for a conference,

event, entertainment / media company

  • Experience working in the entertainment, event, conference, media, community industry

  • Experience using Salesforce CRM system

  • Exemplifies enthusiasm, excitement, and passion behind the company and

The compensation for this role is $200k-$250k depending on experience.
