ROLE

● Own the Sales Strategy. Design and implement strategy across the entire customer lifecycle: prospect,
sell, close and expand, including playbook and process
● Sell: Educate their prospects about the company and the strength of women athletes as influencers.
Close deals with brands that want to work with athletes, working with accounts of your own and also
stepping in to help your AEs, when necessary
● Lead the Team: Build, develop, coach and manage the sales team to achieve aggressive sales goals
● Deliver results: Establish clear sales metrics (weekly, monthly and annual) and benchmarks for
measuring progress and maintaining focus. Develop the plan and resources needed to achieve these
goals. Rally the team around achieving targets
● Drive creative: Think big and come up with innovative campaigns and stories that make the most of
budgets and make brands want to work with them. Review, edit and update the company’s collateral
materials to ensure appropriate sales materials
● Collaborate across the company: Partner with their content and marketing teams to maximize usage of
their athlete content, and define content and outbound strategy

CANDIDATE

● 7+ years of relevant sales experience, strong preference for experience in social media and/or
traditional advertising
● 3+ years managing a sales team (including SDRs, AEs and operations)
● Startup experience. Must have experience developing Sales Playbook/Process, as well as building out
team structure in early to growth stage companies
● Proven track record of success and excellence (athletically, academically, professionally, etc.) and
especially in the sales cycle from plan to close
● Tech savvy. You love building a sales process from the ground up. You move fast and work smart, and
leverage tools/technology to allow their sales team to scale well. You're already fluent with
industry-standard tools like Hubspot, Expandi, and automation tools, and you're not afraid to try and
test new ones.
● Process oriented. Bring on the systems. You love a good system, and you're energized by launching
and iterating on processes as you help build out what the next best sales funnel can look like. You are
not only excited about closing deals, but also putting a repeatable process in place that will allow their
go-to-market team to excel in the future.
● Analytical and data-driven, and comfortable using data to help make decisions
● An excellent communicator, with a huge bias towards listening and collaborating with internal and
external partners
● An engaging presenter with the ability to get people excited about the amazing women athletes in
the community
● Hands on, and an action and results-oriented leader who thrives in and fosters a fast-paced and
entrepreneurial culture, and jumps into getting things done
● Senior enough to identify and execute on the top sales priorities to move the company forward, but
not so senior that you don’t do the work. Strong project and time management skills; ability to think
independently and initiate action; must thrive in working under deadlines and handling multiple tasks
without sacrificing attention to details
● Impeccable reputation for integrity and good judgment
● Team-first. Ability to work as a team member in a respectful, productive, inclusive, and healthy
workplace, even in a remote setting
● A former elite athlete and/or a passionate women’s sports fan, a huge plus

The compensation for this role is $150k-$225k depending on experience with unlimited commission.
