Director of Customer Success

Job Description

Correlation One is seeking an experienced Director of Customer Success to join their team. This position is 100% remote, although the ideal candidate would be based in the New York area.  


Correlation One is an education technology company whose mission is to create equal access to the jobs of tomorrow. 


They have developed a new model for education that eliminates traditional barriers to opportunity. They run university-level programs that are 100% free for students, financed by enterprises that train or recruit program graduates. This model aligns incentives between the education provider, student, and employer, where everyone wins when the student gets hired.


Example programs include Data Science for All, a masters-level data science bootcamp for individuals from historically underrepresented groups, and Amazon Career Choice, an analytics training program for frontline warehouse workers.


Their model is not just more equitable, but it is also inherently more scalable than traditional education providers. Each program is taught by tier-1 university professors and teaching assistants, delivered virtually to cohort-based learning communities. They currently run programs for 5,000+ students each year in 10+ countries, and they plan to grow 5-10x in the next two years.


Their clients include over 50 blue-chip companies, such as Amazon, Citadel, Accenture, Target, EY, BlackRock, and Johnson & Johnson. 


These organizations work with them to train their employees, to recruit program graduates, and to proactively invest in talent from traditionally underrepresented communities.


As Director of Customer Success, you will lead a transformation for the way their clients achieve success. The Customer Success team is chartered with helping their enterprise clients realize value from Correlation One products and programs. The ideal candidate will bring a customer-centric culture and a proven record of leading customer engagement/success teams.

They have doubled their enterprise client base each of the last three years, and plan to accelerate their growth in the near future. They seek an experienced Director of Customer Success who can build a system of high-quality client service while also optimizing for client growth.

This person will be a senior leader on an already amazing team, and will be expected to develop and manage a group of world-class customer success professionals. 

This position will report directly to their Chief Operating Officer.


  • Develop and manage relationships with tier-1 enterprise clients like Target, EY, Accenture, and dozens of other firms

  • Build playbooks, processes, and systems for client engagement and support to ensure that enterprise customers realize value from Correlation One products and programs

  • Collaborate with Correlation One leadership across program operations, product, and executive management

  • Define and implement key reporting methodologies to understand and represent the customer success function

  • Lead and grow a team of world-class customer success professionals


Relevant Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in customer success, account management, consultative sales, or business consulting, preferably within a SaaS model

  • Significant experience managing b2b enterprise relationships and leading executive-level business communications

  • Experience with strategy development and strategic planning, including GTM development

  • Experience developing, managing, and leading teams

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives.

  • Experience using/integrating a CS / CRM technologies into the rhythm of the business
