Role Overview

The Human Resource Manager reports to the CEO. This position is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating human resources activities for the company. The position will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure effective planning and implementation of human resource initiatives to support a high growth organization. In summary, this position owns the full range of human resource management. HR Manager position: Hourly rate: $50 per hour, ~15 hours per week. Remote ok but Bay Area / Redwood City preferred.

 

 

Duties

      Oversight and execution of all human resources operations day to day

      Serve as the main point of contact for benefits administration and coordination of educational session

      Manage the annual benefits open enrollment process, including identifying and analyzing benefits and plans to maintain a competitive offering

      Assist in the development, creation, documentation and management of company policies and procedures, in alignment with corporate values and operational needs

      Oversee HR Compliance with all employment related laws (federal, state, and local)

      Serve as an HR partner in performance management, compensation program administration, talent management, workforce planning

      Lead Recruitment efforts as needed and guide new hires through on-boarding

      Manage off-boarding process, both voluntary and involuntary

      Weekly oversight and review of payroll process and manage PTO and time off system

      Manage all employee relations providing conflict resolution or coaching as needed

      Reviewing and maintaining proper HR documentation with a focus on risk and compliance alignment

      Help with facilities and an office move starting Q4.

 

Qualifications

      7+ years of previous HR manager experience, robust knowledge of HR functions and best practices required

      Strong organization and communication skills, comfortability interfacing with all levels of leadership to provide thoughtful guidance on objectives

      Comfortable and innovative in a fast-paced changing environment

      PLUS: Experience with Namely HRIS, Lattice, Lever
