Job Description

The Engagement Analyst is a client-facing role, and serves as a critical member of the engagement team. Successful candidates will be responsible for the collection, analysis, processing and presentation of information for select projects including asset inventories, supplier RFx response data, baseline financials, business cases and other statistical output. Projects span networking and mobility, software, hardware, IT infrastructure (cloud, data centers), managed services and other technology domains.

Additional details:
  • Build client baseline financials and asset inventories utilizing client and supplier billing, invoicing, electronic portals and
  • other media
  • Create financial models and business case scenarios based on client requirements, supplier bid and negotiation
  • documents, or other requirements provided to the Analyst
  • Provide comparative analysis and reconciliation of client contracts to billing and invoicing
  • Identify and document opportunities for cost optimization based on client billing and inventory data
  • Work closely with client and Yates resources to facilitate collection of project data
  • Host, facilitate or participate in virtual and on-site client and Yates Ltd. meetings and conference calls

Candidate profile:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in similar analytical roles addressing IT and technology domains
  • Working knowledge of basic financial concepts and models
  • Working knowledge of at least one IT domain (network, software, other)
  • Expert in the use of Excel and other data analytics tools
  • Extreme attention to detail – both tactical and strategic (thinking through interdependencies, outcomes, implications)
  • Comfortable and effective in working with all levels of the client organization, in person or remotely
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients, and assist in managing client expectations
  • Adept in observing and reporting on client behaviors and nuances that may influence project results
  • Ability to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for remediation
  • Self-motivated, independent and able to successfully work from home or remotely
