The Director has primary responsibility for originating new loans, managing channel partner relationships, and driving complex commercial projects through to completion. The role will report into the New York, NY office, although the expectation is that the candidate has the ability to work from home and is willing to travel.
Key responsibilities include:
Forming relationships with commercial real estate professionals including building owners, developers, professional services firms and clean energy contractors.
Driving team pipeline generation and manage pipeline to close
Partnering with the finance team and external technical reviewers to obtain necessary financial and technical documentation
Working with mortgage holders (where applicable) to gain consent for PACE financing
Working with the company's business development team to refine current processes to be more efficient and scalable
Increasing market awareness of the company
Contributing to business development strategy
The position is ideally suited for commercial real estate professionals looking to expand their responsibilities and compensation while working towards a mission-driven goal in a rapidly growing company. All candidates should have 5+ years of complex (multi-stakeholder, high dollar value) outside sales, the ability to lead deal teams in a growing organization, and relevant experience in at least one of the following industries: commercial loan origination, commercial real estate, commercial clean energy finance, commercial energy efficiency/clean energy. They should have a proven track record of exceeding goals.
