The ideal candidate will have a proven record of strong leadership with high team engagement, a history of leading large initiatives through collaboration, and a passion for architecting with integrity.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement and maintain projects that are necessary for software development and sustenance.
Perform engineering design evaluations and ensure the completion of projects within the resource, scheduling and budget restraints.
Provide technical guidance to engineering teams.
Support established organizational objectives by developing goals and strategies.
Implement and maintain the company’s software engineering standards and policies.
Find and implement ways to improve cost-efficiency.
Implement and coach team on best engineering practices.
Help development teams in building new products and features from the early phases to completion.
Provide an interactive leadership style that drives delivery, fosters creativity and fosters high performance.
Set goals and project deadlines with your team.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business or equivalent work experience.
8+ years of experience in a senior-level technical role.
Vast knowledge and experience in software development and developing web-based applications.
Proven success leading an engineering development team and managing software development projects.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Have a sense of intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning.
Highly motivated self-starter.
Ability to think critically and independently.
Strong organizational and time management skills, including ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing initiatives.
