Sr Digital Marketing Manager

Inkwell has been retained to hire a Sr Digital Marketing Manager to join a very exciting start up. The successful hire will be responsible for providing digital marketing tactics & strategy for multiple businesses, as well as the management of the companies digital channels – social media, search & web. As part of the company shared-service studio, you will support several businesses at once, developing solutions that are both unique per business, but also benefit from shared resources and learning among the businesses.

Candidates should have great experience in all aspects of digital marketing, including creating omni-channel marketing campaigns across the latest digital tactics, using analytics to optimize those tactics, and driving engagement among audiences. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated competencies in marketing campaign strategy & design, social media, SEO/SEM, email marketing, marketing analytics, earned and paid media, vendor and media partner management – all in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

You will:
- Own the Digital Marketing plans and co-create solutions with prospective customers alongside brand marketing, experience design, research and product teams
- Create marketing strategies that solve business problems and can extend to many businesses, articulating those solutions through campaign design & delivery
- Lead the sourcing and management of creative and media partners
- Advise on marketing solutions, supporting the needs of our portfolio companies
- Serve as the ' Owner' for social and web for clients (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Web & Search), developing content & hands-on management of channels
- Develop social media & search creative standards
- Build digital marketing best practices that can be adopted across several companies
- Setup tools to support Social listening and Social analytics, turn that data into insight, and report consistently to senior leadership on our efforts
- Develop proposals for digital media, Including budget sizing & resource planning
- Build and grow our digital capabilities through the creation of a roster of vendor partners and contractors 
- Provide leadership to both our company and the companies we create
- Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale
- Research new technologies & marketing practices, and continually develop functional expertise

The ideal candidate is/has: 
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Digital Marketing management
- Has worked independently and can demonstrate self-driven accomplishments 
- Fully understands the marketing funnel, measurement & driving engagement
- Excellent documentation skills, specifically campaign design, keywords, social content, project plans, proposals, resource plans
- Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, & employees
- Works independently and able to manage several projects concurrently
- Excellent communication skills and able to manage upward and downward across teams, from remote environments
