Inkwell has been retained by a high-profile client to search for their first hire - Director of Operations/Project Manager. General responsibilities include:
- Manage company operations to instill best-in-class processes and practices, efficiency, and prioritization
- Set and attend bi-weekly full team call, brand/ marketing call, product call, financial call
- Manage company calendar
- Fill need where lacking

Product Management:
- Manage the product life cycle for both apparel/non-apparel groups with cross functional partners (ideation, planning, design, production, sales)
- Help develop project objectives with re—inc product development team and responsible for ensuring that the goals are met
- Coordinate across different departments of the product’s life cycle (Finance for development, marketing with fulfillment, etc.)
- Assist companies design team in visually approving product, samples, & material, fit, color, trims, labels, design art
- Create the specifications for the products, publishes and maintains all records, style files, and samples
- Responsible for regular communication with product partners, factories, and company.
- Maintain a regular cadence of update via calls, emails, and slack
- Closely monitor each project to ensure that projects are implemented according to schedule, within budget, and agreed-upon scope of requirements/deliverables
- Help ensure best-in-class delivery and sales experience for customers by working with website developer, Shopify manager, packaging, and fulfillment partner

Job Requirements:
- Personal values and previous work in line with company mission and brand
- 5+ years of experience in project management or operations
- Experience with product manufacturing
- Entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic
- Experience with managing various teams across different cultures
- Well versed in slack, excel and google docs
- Highly organized and communicative
- Capability to succeed (thrive) in a deadline driven environment
- Strategic thinker with the proven ability to execute and build scalable processes and systems
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Love of Travel. Comfortable and (ideally experienced) in international travel
